Scope, evidence and trust
Understand the service before booking and the evidence before deciding. These are explanations of scope and editorial practice, not an accreditation or a promise that every defect can be found.

An inspection records the vehicle's observed condition within the selected service and the access available during the visit. It is not a guarantee of future reliability, proof that no hidden issue exists, or a prediction of every repair the vehicle may need. A report should be read with its limitations, not reduced to a single reassuring label.
A general inspection does not automatically include dismantling, a complete diagnostic investigation, a battery-capacity test, a market valuation or verification of every transaction document. If a particular answer is essential to your purchase, explain it before booking and ask whether a specialist, manufacturer or other appropriate service is needed.
New-car PDI and pre-owned inspection serve different purchase stages. Petrol, diesel and EV vehicles also need the appropriate service template. Read the current package description rather than assuming that every advertised check is included in every plan. A package name such as Premium is not a promise of unlimited testing or a warranty.
The current prices and inclusions below come from the same public catalogue used by the website. They are not a separate editorial price list. Confirm the vehicle category, actual location and any additional arrangements with the coordination team. A guide cannot silently expand the service you purchased or promise a particular appointment.
The car, keys, seller permission and an appropriate place to work need to be available. Tell the coordinator about restricted entry, poor lighting, a basement, a crowded yard or limits on photographs and equipment. Road-test and underbody observations are conditional on the package and suitable access; they are not reasons to create an unsafe situation.
An inaccessible or unassessed item must not be interpreted by the reader as a pass. Ask about the missing observation and what appropriate follow-up could answer the question. Do not ask an assessor to go beyond a safe, authorised scope merely because a delivery or purchase is urgent. High-voltage or other specialist concerns require appropriately qualified assessment.
Read the report's vehicle details, date, observations, applicable photos and limitations together. Separate what was observed from what the seller stated and what still needs investigation. If a conclusion is unclear, ask for an explanation tied to the relevant item. A recommendation for diagnosis is not the same as a completed diagnosis or repair quotation.
If the seller proposes a correction, keep that proposal separate from evidence that work was completed. A previous inspection does not automatically describe the condition after later repairs or apply to a replacement vehicle. Confirm follow-up arrangements directly; do not assume a repeat visit, repair, negotiation or acceptance of delivery is included.
The sample report and labelled illustrations demonstrate formats and concepts. They are not presented as a real customer's inspection, a verified success story or proof about the car you are buying. An attractive image does not establish inspector qualifications, inspection volume or a measured outcome.
Private inspection media, number plates, vehicle identifiers, customer names and report links do not become public marketing material simply because they exist in a system. Publication requires appropriate permission and privacy review. When asking about a report, use the agreed support channel and avoid posting another person's private details publicly.
Guides identify InspecXO as the organisational publisher and display publication or substantive update dates. Our own package descriptions are supported by the published catalogue. Where an explanation relies on external technical guidance, the relevant source is linked; manufacturer instructions remain specific to the vehicle. A link does not imply that the source endorses InspecXO.
We do not present these pages as personally tested reviews or attribute them to an invented engineer. Planning examples are illustrative, not undisclosed customer case studies. External guidance is separated from our practical suggestions, and an overseas source is not treated as a statement of Indian law. General information does not diagnose an individual car.
InspecXO sells inspection services. Our comparison guides disclose that relationship and describe when an alternative, such as a workshop assessment, may help. We do not invent competitor weaknesses, customer reviews, rankings, ratings or certifications. Compare the current written offer from each provider before deciding which service fits your vehicle.
A service-area page is not a walk-in office listing. Locality and city guidance helps identify the vehicle's location; the coordinator must still confirm the address, access and appointment. Additional coverage pages can use a contact-first request while the online city selector remains limited to its active list. Never choose the wrong city just to proceed through a form.

If a guide appears unclear or inaccurate, send the page URL and the specific passage to the InspecXO coordination desk. For an individual booking or report, use the appropriate private support conversation. Explain the question without publishing personal records. A correction request is not a reason to disclose another customer's evidence.
