What is a car PDI?
PDI means pre-delivery inspection. It is a check of the actual new car allocated for delivery so its identity, visible condition, fit-and-finish and applicable systems can be documented before you accept it.
When should I book a new-car PDI?
Where possible, arrange the inspection before final delivery or registration and after the dealer confirms the exact vehicle and allows inspection access.
Do you provide PDI for petrol, diesel and electric cars?
Yes. InspecXO uses separate Petrol New PDI, Diesel New PDI and EV New PDI inspection templates.
Can PDI guarantee that a new car will never have a problem?
No. A PDI records observed condition at the time of inspection. It does not guarantee future reliability or replace manufacturer diagnostics, warranty coverage or specialist testing where required.
